Top Partners Sign Up To New Argentium Strategy

New Partners and new developments signal exciting times for Argentium

Press release, February 3 2010

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Top-Partners-Sign-Up-to-New-prnews-208917687.html?x=0&.v=101

Argentium International Limited, the company behind the Argentium premium silver brand, today announced its new distribution strategy. At its heart is a renewed focus on building best-in-class partnerships to help meet growing demand for the highly tarnish-resistant alloy and to work with Argentium International on the next exciting phase of Argentium innovation.

The first of several world-renowned companies to join Argentium International's expert network is the Legor Group, which will be the exclusive worldwide supplier of Argentium Silver grain. Richard Leyens, CEO of Argentium International commented, "Legor Group is recognised as one of our industry's most dynamic innovators with a heritage of outstanding quality and service stretching back over 30 years. Legor Group represents an ideal global supply partner and will support industry demand for Argentium grain through their network of International offices in Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, USA, India and more."

"Through the first phase of development we have learnt the importance of having partners that are best positioned to serve a diverse group of customers, partners who can collaborate with us to further develop and grow our products addressing differing industry applications."

New additions to the Argentium brand are expected later this year. Andrea Basso, Head of Research and Development at Legor, has created demanding criteria for the introduction of new Argentium alloys. These will be required to pass four critical tarnish resistance tests that recreate the effects of pollution, sweat, sunlight and swimming pools. Andrea Basso said, "Traditional sterling silver would fail any one of these, while all Argentium silver alloys must achieve 100% pass under each of the prescribed conditions." Leyens said, "By applying this intensive test regime, we are confident that Argentium's recognition as the most tarnish resistant alloy available today will grow rapidly together with our increasing brand awareness."

Further best-in-class suppliers, for mill products including Argentium silver sheet and wire, will be announced before the end of March 2010. These will serve European and US markets.

We are delighted to confirm the appointment of top Italian chain manufacturer Livior Spa as the latest member to join our Argentium Approved Manufacturers programme. Livior Spa is our very first approved supplier of fine quality silver chain.

Andrea Berton of Livior comments that "Argentium is ideal for companies who value quality and wish to rise above a crowded commodity market". There is international awareness of the Argentium brand amongst retailers who aspire to the colour and lustre of fine silver without the problems of rapid tarnish - Argentium is the obvious solution."
